HARD ROCKIN METALMEN FROM GREAT BRITAIN – Stairway is a British Classic Heavy Metal outfit formed in the heady heights of the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal).

Debut CD, ‘No Rest : No Mercy’ produced by Paul Hodson (Hard Rain / Bob Catley). Independently released second album ‘Bleeding Heart’.

Stairway’s 3rd album ‘On Hallowed Ground’ was released to an increased fan base, with the track ‘Under the Gun’ featured on CD issued by American Label MIB Music.

Signed a Licensing deal with Retroactive Records in the USA to re-release the ‘No Rest: No Mercy’ album as a Limited Edition – followed by an incredible gig appearance in October ’05 at Metalfest Germany appearing with Rob Rock (USA) and Narnia (Sweden).

In 2006 the band released ‘The Other Side of Midnight’, a disc of pure Classic Heavy Metal, debuting at #2 in the USA’s National College Chart, and two Nominations for Best Album and Best Group in the NMW Awards in Hollywood USA.

Slots co-headlining with Blitzkrieg and Blaze Bayley (ex Iron Maiden) at UK festival dates, new album ‘Interregnum’ now on general release in UK, Germany, Norway,Greece, Australia, USA.
